Nina Malterud (b. 1951)
Malterud was educated at the National College of Art and Design (SHKS) in Oslo (1971-74) and has been working as a ceramic artist since 1975, in Oslo and later in Bergen. Her works are represented in the museums of Decorative Art in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim and other public collections in Norway. She was Professor in Ceramics at Bergen Academy of Art and Design (KHiB) 1994-2002 and rector at KHiB 2002-2010. Her latest exhibitions include tablet, eye, skin in Gallery Format in Oslo 2017, Collect London 2017 and the annual juried exhibition Kunsthåndverk 2017.
