Format at Nomad St. Moritz 2022

March 2022 will see the CHESA PLANTA in Samedan opening its doors with a curated selection of the finest design and art pieces with a roster of new and returning international galleries and special projects.

Format’s presentation at Nomad St. Moritz 2022 consists of some of Norway’s most celebrated crafts artists - all established artists with high quality unique pieces with a striking artistic expression: Ceramic artist Irene Nordli works with sculptures and large-scale works where she explores animal and human hybrids in various degrees of abstraction. Textile artist Trine Mauritz has developed her own method using an energetic and powerful thicker quality of woolen cloth when creating large textile works build from modules. Glass artist Kari Mølstad is using different cutting techniques experimenting with the glass surface in order to find new ways to communicate with the observer.
